Richard A. Lopchinsky, MD, FACS is a board certified general surgeon in both the United States and Israel. Prior to his Aliyah to Israel, he was a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Arizona – Phoenix Campus and the Chief of the ENT / Head & Neck Service at the Phoenix VA Medical Center.

After completing his general surgical residency, Prof. Lopchinsky completed a fellowship in Head & Neck Surgery at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He then spent 28 years performing soft tissue surgical oncology in private practice in New York City, at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital. Prior to retiring, he made Aliyah to work at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa for 2 years.

He has had extensive experience with skin and soft tissue tumors especially in the head & neck region including their loco-regional reconstruction.
